Lisbon International Airport Train Transfers

Train

There is no train station at Lisbon International Airport, but there is a Metro station and the main train station in Lisbon, Gare de Oriente, is located only 10 minutes away by Metro. The Metro line servicing the airport and the train station is called Oriente.

From Gare de Oriente it is possible to travel to all parts of the country by train. It is also possible to get here on the public transport buses, No's 208,705 and 744.

Metro

The Lisbon Metro has a direct line servicing Lisbon Airport and the city center via the line “Aeroporto-Saldanha”. This will take you to downtown Lisbon in around 20 minutes. 

The Aeroporto Metro station is located at the southern edge of Terminal 1’s arrivals area. 

Passengers must purchase the “7 Colinas/Viva Viagem” electronic travel card for 0.50€ to travel on the Metro. The card is a top-up card that allows travel within the Metro system as well as the public bus network. 

A single journey costs around 1.50€. The card has to be topped up with credit beginning at a minimum of 3.00€ and can be topped up as needed when credit is low.
